Designer Mia Marttiini (Master of Arts) started her career in multimedia, graphic design and moving images.

She has considerable media and design field expertise and has worked extensively with virtual reality and neural network technologies creating interactive media concepts.
She has collaborated on numerous TV documentaries and programs, books, magazines, and interactive new media services.

Ms. Marttiini has proven execution capabilities and a strong business, design and technological background. She has a strong vision as a partner, board member, management team member, and acts as a creative director in several organisations.

Her interests focus on communication, design, human behaviour and interactivity. She has considerable experience in exploiting new technical and technological possibilities.

Ms. Marttiini holds an MA Degree from the University of Art and Design Media Lab, Helsinki. The concept of her final thesis, MAI Garden, is an innovative end-to-end digital communication and interaction solution that helps the elderly receive multisensory stimuli, communicate with their friends and families, and manage their affairs electronically.

Ms. Marttiini is a co-founder and chairwoman of Studio Mind Inc., a company that creates information design services using neural network technologies.
In addition, she is a freelance artist producing photo images, and images on aluminium. The abstract art works are transformed to aluminium plates and walls with an innovative digital coating process techniques for Mood, Ltd.
